Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a Mental Health Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others and contribute to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by mental health professionals
- Conduct individual sessions under the supervision of licensed therapists
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Secondary education, Rehab Counseling or Social Work, or minor in Sociology, psychology, social work or counseling field (master's degree preferred)
- Experience working in a mental health setting or similar environment
- Knowledge of mental health counseling techniques and interventions
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards individuals with mental health challenges
- Crisis intervention skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
